EIA releases Biodiesel data with almost 3 months delay but Oct data shows clearly how sensitive biodiesel feedstock use is to pricing of Soyoil above 70 c/lbs. Soyoil use dipped do below 800 Mil lbs (363,877 MT) in Jan/feb 2022 during Ukraine war fears yet recovered to above 900 Mil lbs (408,237/MT) monthly by July 2022. We see a similar pattern with Yellow Grease. This represent a 10% volume adjustment which is significant. Other feedstocks remain much more stable during these hyperbole moments.
